Hi all,

My sister wants to be part of my growing wireless network

Now her pc is old, p3 with win 98. Can anyone recommed a decent, cheap wireless card? Any compatabilty issues with a Netgear WGR614 router?

I had sooo many troubles geting my old old win98se pc working with a wireless car in the end i connected it via ethernet connection to a access point it was a little more money but sooo much easier as no need for software as windows sees it just as a LAN!

Something like a WG602!

Note : This was a few years ago so they might be a bit more refined for 98

Is it Win98 or Win98SE ?

To check go to control panel and double click on System and it will mention the OS on the screen, if it is SE it will mention it.

I've just had a look, it's win98
