I am thinking of buying a new MBP and wanted to get advice on which one I should buy. I currently just use a laptop for browsing, watching video/films and listening to music. My current laptop is constantly connected to a 50" plasma via HDMI, I use this for my movie watching. Anyway I had a few questions.....
Will a MBP be able to play full 1080p HD video?
Will it be able to output to the plasma TV via HDMI?
I see the 15" 2.66GHz model has an extra 9600GT gfx card on top of the 9400M, is this needed for what I would be using it for?
If I don’t require the extra gfx power would it be worth while using the saving to invest in more ram or a blueray drive?
Oh I also heard about the HE deals, my gf is a student at uni. Is it just a case of her ordering from within the uni network or does she need to show her uni ID card in an apple store?
