Hi All,

I have the chance to get a "Little green men" case for next to nothing. It's the area 51 ALX case, and as I am going to be building a new rig I was wanting to know would this case be ok for my build? There is no psu etc it's just the bare case apart from some fans, so would it accommodate none "little green men" parts?

Any help on this matter would be welcomed. ;):);)

^ Changed my mind on the above, as I have got hold of a Aerocool X-Predator Evil Full Tower Gaming Case now, which I will be picking-up next week.

Does anyone have one of these? if so what are they like for cable management etc?

I have an x predator. It's ok, nothing special for me. I think i paid £130 for it, it does seem rather plasticy at the front and top which i am not a fan of, but the inside is solid enough.

Does have a fair few holes for cable management, but i would have liked the space between the mobo tray and the side panel to be a bit larger, the 24 pin cable is quite large in diameter and caused my side panel to warp out a bit because i couldn't make it any flatter.

More than enough space on the inside, for long gpus, big coolers and a whole load of drives. I very much like the look of it, but i do wish the construction of it was a bit stronger.

If i could go back in time, i would have gotten a different case, but i guess it would depend on the price for me.

Cheers for that,as it's handy to know.

I've seen these cases online, but looks can be deceiving as you have pointed-out about the front of the case being a bit plasticy for your liking.

Mind you I don't think I will moan about that, as I got for a lot less than the online prices I have seen and it's still in the box unopened. :)
