Advice on compound

Zalman’s well-respected premium heatsink compound, ZM-STG1 for free with cooler or Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound for £7.04.
Is there a real dif between,any1 compaired the 2.

Supposedly, ZM-STG1 is better than Arctic Silver 5.

Well i think i'll go with the Zalman muck,as free with cooler.. Cant be bad

I would go with the Zalman stuff, you can allways change it if you need to

Would be interesting to see how much AS5 he applied, as it looks ridiculously easy to apply a thin layer of that stuff compared to AS5.

I put a 1st coat on then waited 10 seconds and put another coat on,that was the chip and then 1 coat on cooler.

i used to use akasa stuff but then used arctic silver and it is good stuff, dropped my temps down by 2-3 degrees
