Advice on CPU Upgrade

Radeon R9 290
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Intel Z87 mobo
TeamGroup Elite Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
SuperFlower Golden Green HX 650W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply
BeQuiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 air cooler

After working way too much over the festive period I’ve decided to upgrade my monitor and card for some 1440p/144Hz gaming action. I am thinking on splashing out on the PG278QR 1440p/165Hz monitor plus probably an RTX 2080, so question is will my CPU become a bottleneck? I’m not planning on playing any really recent games yet, I have a backlog of a good few 3-4 year old games I want to get through first so can o hold off on getting a new CPU for a little longer or just upgrade it now? If now, any suggestions? Should I replace my RAM?

Ok i think the new ram and mobo is a good idea but not sure about the CPU, would it be worth spending a bit extra on one to futureproof or will the one you’ve linked do fine? I don’t have a clue about Overclocking so not gonna be doing that in a hurry
