Advice on downsizing hardware

Space is getting quite limited for me, and given my current specs, I 'think' it half makes sense to maybe downgrade the size.
Currently deciding, but I would like some help regarding how difficult it would be for me.
Specs:
3570K @ 3.40GHz - Z77-D3H mobo - 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz ram - Radeon HD 7870 x edition - x1 SSD - x1HDD.

Maybe I could downsize to a micro ATX.
I would maybe use sli or crossfire at some point, but I don't think i'd upgrade beyond that. And watercooling is overkill for my system.

So could anyone give any advice on how difficult it would be in my case?
Or should I just leave as is, more room for upgrading, but in the way.

I wouldn't recommend matx if you think you may go dual card and don't want to watercooled.

Downsizing to matx won't always save a huge amount of space either.

How are you limited for space? Cam you add pics?
