well after seeing this i am thinking about drilling a mini grill above the psu in my akasa eclipse - not needed, might help with the large amount of heat but to be honest - I'm just board this afternoon lol and i was wondering how i would go about doing this , i don't want to damage the case because its nice and new and shiny n stuff. and before anyone says i know the best safety measure is just to not do it! lol

so how should i go about it?

I'm thinking, cover the whole area in masking tape, pencil on a stencil - drill from the outer side of the case inwards. I'm assuming the masking tape and just being careful just stop the area around the wholes from being damaged?

I'm gonna do a 120x120 square on the top panel at the back, probably 3mm wholes, might do larger ones so i just gotta do less holes! maybe 5mm ? i don't care toooo much for how it looks - as long as its crisp and what not - i want it too look like "it came like that" as opposed to "i did that myself look how badly and inaccurate it is" lol

any advice much welcomed

oh ffs! lol i just took down like 3 lumps of steel and aluminum down *** dump only the other day - 2 old icute cases and a dell case :P they would have made good template making material. Shame.

*thinks* brb gonna go looking around the house :) lol

urrrr , *shudders* i dont know about deburring, i might just go in from the outside and leave it. i mean im not gonna see the inside - is it all that important ?

how about on the outside, just using a counter sink tool for like a split second, just to clean up the edges? that should suffice - meh ill test it on something first :)
