Well after months and months of waiting i have finally decided that i'm going to attempt to fit my water-cooling.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-021-SW&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1038

Spec:
E6320 @ 2.9hz
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
2gb geil 800mhz ram
hiper type r 580w

A few questons though...

I'm currently using the old ThermalTake full size armour case and was wondering if anyone has fitted the radiator into the front bay?

I'm using a x1900xt 512mb card and was wondering if i need to purchase anything else for it to work properly?

I need to know what tube goes from where to where etc if this matters

Any tips at all on any matter of water-cooling will help :)

don't know about the case but as for the tubing its quite simple, as long as it all fits in a loop it doesn't make that much difference what order or where the tubes go.

A couple of pointers though..

it will always be easier to fill the system if the res is directly before the pump inlet, that way you can fill plenty of water before you turn the pump on and the pump has water to go at as soon as it comes on.

it could be argued the rad should be last just before the res, that way the coolest water gets to the hot components.

Personally I always try and get the cpou before the gpu because the cpu is much more heat reactive for max clocks etc.

You shouldn't need anything else to fit the x1900 block.

Good kit though, you've done the right thing for a first timer, people often get dragged in with xspc or thermaltake cack. You're starting with some of the best components.

Best thing I can suggest is take your time, use hoseclips (worm drive clamps are the best, that way you know its fitted tight!), leak test it.. might be worth learning how to jump start your psu so you can run just the pump. Its dead easy.. http://www.overclock.net/faqs/96712-how-jump-start-power-supply-psu.html basically with the psu OFF AND UNPLUGGED (disclaimer lol) stick a staple/paperclip/bit of wire) between the green and black lines onto your atx plug (iirc there are lots of black but only one green and any will do) pref tape it up with masking tape or something to stop it falling out then as soon as you apply poower to you psu your molex plugs will be live. Presto, running pump for filling/leak testing and no risk to components from spills. If you get a leak just make sure whatever component it leaks on dries out fully before you try and use it again and it should be fine.

Anything else? lol!

Oh yeah, measure your tubing well before you cut it, thats a schoolboy error chopping it too short or too long and wasting it either way.

Cheers for the advice :). Seem's like it could be a bit of a challenge fitting the rad into the case but will see as it comes along. I'll be going to a few lans which sometimes may need me to take my computer along with me (3/4 a year) so im guessing the weight of the computer will be dreadful as its the full steel one not the ally one :(

I'll attempt to leave the gpu towards the end it's just this is one of the major factors im fitting this kit as it's reaching 110+ degrees when playing games like cod4. In the near future though i will be getting a cheap 8800gt/gts and overclocking it, seems like the EK stuff are nice with this if it worked with my setup.

Is their a chance of finding the manual online as it seems to have gone walk abouts :(

Is the res good enough aswell?
