Hi I'm new to pc gaming but decided to jump right in. I want to spend 1700-1800 on a new build. Could people tell me where I'm going right/wrong with this list? I'm a total novice. Will be playing at 1440k, wanting ultra on as much as possible. Will, at some point, try my hand at basic overclocking. In a couple of years will probably put a second gpu in SLI.

i7 6700k
Superflower leadex 750w fully modular 80+ gold psu.
NZXT kraken x61 280mm aio water cooling unit.

MSI X99A Xpower gaming titanium Intel x99 mobo (I know this is over kill but it comes bundled with 16gb of ram and 128gb m.2 ssd. I would love some advice as to whether this is a good idea or not)

Gtx 1080, any of the £600-700 ones as they seem the fastest without being water cooled? Possibly the KFA2 GTX 1080 HOF 8192. As this is recommended by 8pack (I guess this is good) and would match my color scheme.

A case I'm yet to decide, but a full tower, suggestions would be fantastic.
Windows 10

All help would be greatly appreciated as this is a lot of money and would like to spend it wisely. Cheers!

How did I miss this, I purposefully was looking at z170's and got distracted by the bundle. Thank-you so much you have saved me a lot of money!
