I want to purchase a new PC for gaming along with less demanding general tasks and the odd bit of music production (which doesn't require any fancy additional hardware as it will all be synthesised inside the machine using propellerheads reason or VSTs).
Looking at what overclockers offer and with a budget of not much over £1,000 including OS, keyboard, mouse and monitor what are your thoughts on this (titan 8700i pulse):
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-247-OE
with additions of:
Windows 8 64 bit
Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI sound card
Samsung 120GB SSD
Sapphire HD 7950 OC 3072MB GDDR5
...Bringing the total so far to £913.98
Followed by:
Asus VS228H 22" Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor - Black [VS228H] £107.99
Logitech MK120 Desktop Set (920-002552) [920-002552]
£15.98
All in, £1037.95 before delivery.
I've no great desire to build it myself on this occasion. Any suggestions on changes or is this good to go?
