Hi all,

Looking for some advice on an okay build around the £600-700 mark. This will be mainly used to play archEage and run a few bots in lineage 2.

I really like the look of the BitFenix cases, but before looking for a spec for them I wondered if they would be sufficient or are they just overpriced?

I need minimum 16gb ram
120 - 240 GB SSD
i7 quad core

But was unsure of the rest, as its been a while since Ive built a computer and never before in a mini atx case. I was hoping for some build suggestions and or do you think itll be worth me going for water cooling?

Cheers

Adam

For £600-£700 you won't be getting an i7, 16GB RAM, watercooling and an SSD all in one. To have a decently balanced rig, you won't probably get an i7 in at all. Minimum I'd be looking at is;

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-SLI - Devils Canyon Core i5 4690K Bundle **£14 Saving** £252.58
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 280 TurboDUO 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £149.99
1 x Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter (CT256MX100SSD1) £74.99
1 x Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Red (HX21C11BRK2/8-OC) £67.99
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £46.99
1 x Raijintek Agos Midi Tower - Black £39.95
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £38.99
1 x Raijintek Themis Direct Contact CPU Cooler £19.99
Total : £691.46 (includes shipping : ).

That has 8GB RAM, SSD, i5 4690k. As you can see, w/ GPU etc you are looking at £700 already
