Hi I've had a PC for a while and casually gamed whenever i could. However, I've recently just got my hands on a Predator x34A and whilst it is an amazing monitor my gaming experience has taken a hit. Probably due to the fact its now playing on 21:9 screen and I'm getting around 30fps on it which is not the best.

I was wondering what kind off GPU would be recommended. Any suggests will be helpful :)

I'm currently running
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz
RAM:16.0GB Dual-Channel
GPU: 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (MSI)

Thanks in advance.

Hi

What sort of budget do you have for the gpu ? I would say that a GTX 1070 would be the minimum I would go with for 3440 x 1440.

well if you want to max most games at 100 fps and that res, i can tell you you will need something like a 1080ti.

3440x1440x100 is practically the same number of pixels/sec as 4k60. wouldnt want anything less than a 1080, gsync does help though

I guess i can spare around £500 on a GPU next month. I had tried origins on max settings and whilst the graphics were amazing the gameplay was just not worth it - hence why I'm looking for advice for the best bang for buck :)
