Hi,

I have been waiting to upgrade my GPU for what seems like years now.. I don't have much budget for it - maybe £300-500.

I think I want to go for a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti

I am worried that my PSU might not be enough - its an Antec Truepower 650 TP-650 650 W

My other specs are -

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 49 °C
Pinnacle Ridge 12nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1199MHz (16-16-16-39)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. AX370-Gaming K7 (AM4) 31 °C
Graphics
S32D850 (2560x1440@59Hz)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (ASUStek Computer Inc) 47 °C
Storage
931GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB (Unknown (SSD))
57GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 USB Device (USB )
Optical Drives
No optical disk drives detected
Audio
NVIDIA High Definition Audio

Any advice would be great,

Thanks

Make sure to run the latest motherboard BIOS before sticking the new card in, just to rule out no video or POST issues.

Great choice the 3060ti fe is a lovely card. Think of it as twice as fast as a 980ti/1070.
Just updated the bios, nearly **** myself a few times because I havnt done it before but I think everything is ok.

Yeah my 980 is ready to retire I think
