Advice on Graphics Driver updates Please

Hi, wonder if you could advise. I have an ASUS V9999 servies gfx card and on the ASUS site the latest download version is 91.xx (dated 12th 2006). Where as if I go to the Nvidia site the latest download is 93.xx (dated Jan 2007).

Should I go with the ASUS version or would it be OK to upgrade straight to the Nvidia latest?

Is it that ASUS do not test the latest versions with other utils like the Enhanced Driver and Gameface utils and until they do you should just stick with the tried and tested version if it is?
 
Go with the nVidia ones, all the AIB's such as Asus do to drivers are rename the device info strings in the inf files so that it shows ASUS V999 instead of the default name nVidia give it such as 6800GT.

Also they sometimes change the image files for the control panel etc to say ASUS, but I've only ever seen leadtek do this.
 
Thanks my friend. Do you know why they take so long to bring out the revised versions. The Nvidia drivers came out in Jan but the ones on the site marked as latest are from December. Is it that they take so long to make the changes you mentioned or is it the 'We'll update it when people start getting problems' scenario?
