I am putting together a new computer, I have an AMD 6000 processor and an Asus M2N32-SLI DLX nF590 Socket AM2.
In the specifications it says the maximum memory is 6400 = 800.
I have checked out Crucial and that recommends 8500 = 1066.
Will this motherboard run the faster memory or will it throttle it back to 800.
This is my first build using DDR2 memory, so I do not want to get it wrong.
