As you have read my other threads iam sure I've either got a faulty CPU or moherboard. Now I can't figure out which I have the problem with so can you guys recomend a board and CPU? I've read a few reviews on the Asus p5q boards. What I was hoping was to get a new board and try my old CPU in it first which is in sig. Then if that still doesn't work shell out for a new CPU aswell.

They need to be compatiable with the other components in my sig please.

Depends on your budget and if you intend to overclock..

I can only advise on what I have which is the Asus P5KC which is on the P35 chipset. It's a decent board but the P5K premium is better or a P45 (P5Q as you said) which prices vary. Which ever you choose, they are all decent, just depends on what extras you want and will use.

Can spend about 80ish on the mobo. Will my E6600 fit into all of those boards you have mentioned? Is there any boards that it wouldnt fit into?

The DSP3 has been great too, and that had lots off OC abiltiy, but I didnt bother in the end. But yes I might do some OC in future.
