Advice On Monitor Setup

Could someone spec me a decent ultra wide monitor as a first ultra wide? It'll mainly be for gaming. My budget is around £500.

I've narrowed it down myself to this MSI (slightly over budget) and benq. What are your thoughts?

I know the 8ms isn't as low as it could be but I rarely play online fps on my pc.

Examples of games I'll be playing would be the likes of Fallout, Skyrim, Total War Series, Far Cry etc.

Am I going down the wrong route with ultra wide? Would I be better off going for a good quality 27” display at this price and look at triple monitors later down the line if that’s what I wanted?

Forgot to say my current monitor is an Asus vg248qe so, whilst an ultra wide monitor seems like it’d be incredible to have for gaming, a 27” in itself would be a step up.

What would people pick out of the three above and the following ultra wide LG. I know it's only 1080 but with it being a 144hz, 1ms IPS is it the best of both worlds?

Is 1440p that essential for gaming or is that mainly more beneficial for reading small text etc?
