Hey guys, as title, I am in the market for a new case.

Up until now, a case to me was just somewhere to site all my components. This time around though I am looking to spend more than the £35 I spent before......however I still don't like spending silly money, so about £80 is my budget. With that in mind I have looked through the clearance lines and found the following three cases which seem decent for my needs.

Not too worried about large cases, as my current one is 210x450x500 (WxHxD) and a side panel fan is not a requirement, as I have a Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom cooler (164mm height).

The links i have given, are not to the clearance versions however, they are to the full priced product pages:

Aerocool X Predator Ultimate
NZXT Phantom Enthusiast
NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast

My preference is the NZXT Phantom Enthusiast, closely followed by the Aerocool one. I have been looking at purchasing a fan controller lately and the fact that these cases have them already, is a bonus to me.

So in summary, and I understand cases are personal choice and subjective, what thoughts on these have you, or has anyone any experiences of any of these, good or bad ?

Cheers folks.

I have a 410. It's a very good case although the roof clearance limits watercooling options. I have a H100i fitted, rad in the roof section with the fans on push mounted in the case and there isn't room for a 2nd set of fans for push/pull. Not that it's needed tbh.

If I'm honest I only have one real gripe with the 410 over it's bigger brother and that's the optical bay door. I don't understand why NZXT thought it a good idea to put the door opening right to left, opposite to how it opens on the larger one.
Because of the window being on the left of the case, people like me have it on the desk to display the window feature. However with the door opening R>L, the door itself is an obstruction when trying to access the bays.

Still a good case though, though if I'd had the budget I'd have gone for the bigger brother.

Your cooler should fit no issue. I had a Matterhorn Pure in mine which stands at 158mm and there was still a few mm of clearance. NZXT claim there's 171mm capacity.
