Hi all,

I've decided to invest in a new gaming rig and looking to spend ~£1500 (don't mind going a bit over) so far I've managed to come up with this with a bit of advice but would love a second opinion and any suggestions on things that could be improved!

For keyboard I was thinking Steelseries 6vg2 or a Das Keyboard and I have no idea about mouse, but for now the important bit is the below:

CPU: k]Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor[/url]
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4 TH ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Storage: A-Data XPG SX900 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Case: NZXT Switch 810 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk II 750W 80 PLUS Silver Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Monitor: Dell U2412M 60Hz 24.0" Monitor

I've been advised its not worth going for a 680 over a 670 and not worth going for 4gb over 2gb, is this correct on a 24" monitor, from what I've read 4gb cards seem to be for multi-monitor setups mainly. Is the 670 in my list one of the best around? I chose it based ona recommendation of it's fan.

What else would I need as well as the parts? As in thermal paste/anti-static bands anything else that I might need in terms of tools and supporting parts in order to build it all.

Thanks all!

LOL this is very similar to mine!!

Heres mine

Corsair Graphite 600T Midi Tower Case in Silver
Intel Core i5 3570K Processor Overclocked to up to 4.7GHz
Noctua NH-D14 Ultimate Performance Quiet CPU Cooler
Asus P8Z77-V Motherboard
8GB PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 4GB sticks)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2048MB Graphics Card
240GB Corsair Force 3 Solid State Drive
2000GB 7200RPM Hard Disk - 6Gbps
LG Blu-Ray ROM / DVD-RW Combi Drive (Blu-ray playback software supplied for Windows 7 only)
Corsair CX 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified PSU

Mine is a bit cheaper then yours and has a better case.

BTW dont get a 670 you can grab a 7970 for the same price now! And it destroys it in almost every game.

Funny how our systems are nearly identical :\

The only bad thing with this is warranty as everything is from everywhere lol

Great minds think alike! I think I'll consider swapping out the 670 then, I heard the case I picked was one of the best around, are the corsair ones better? What is the best one around at the moment that is under £200?
