Hi guys, i need some expert help and advice if possible.

I currently have the below spec, but as i run my games in 2k, with recent games like the new Witcher and GTA V my PC is struggling a tad on gaming performance so im looking at the possibility of a more capable card, my budget is upto £200 and would like to ask if that would give me a significant performance upgrade ?

I was contemplating buying another 670 GTX until i found out my motherboard doesnt support sli :(

Here is my current spec and more importantly PSU, im also open to changing from Nvidia ro Ati if people think thats a good choice.

KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5

Intel Core i7-3770K
TeamGroup Elite 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 500W

most people will point you towards a 980Ti at a resolution like that if you want max settings due to the 6GB vRAM.

you can get a 4GB card (970/980) which should run the vast majority of games at that kind of resolution, but you may run into issues in the future as some games are already starting to use >4GB vRAM at >1080p resolutions.

if you're only looking to drop £200, try to stretch to a GTX970 or AMD equivalent. it's a pretty big upgrade over a 2GB 670.

thanks ShakeNBake thats much appreciated, so something like this then ?
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-149-GI

how would that compare to this radeon with 8gb ?

I hear you get more power for the price with radeon, is that true and are there any drawbacks to that at all ?

I would say try and grab a cheap 290x/970 second hand to keep ya going for now, if you just want something to get ya frames up in witcher and GTA. They will be nearly twice as powerful as your 670 and will allow a lot nicer settings.

Sorry to jump in, but how does one access the MM?

Is there a postcount requirement or something? I'm looking to sell off a 290x :P
