Hi all, I currently use a Dell Inspiron 6400 (T2400 @ 1.8 GHz, 1G RAM, 945GM Intel Graphics) which I bought about 2 and a half years ago. It's currently my work computer, but I need a new one.
As you might expect, I have a budget of around £500 (no more than £600), and I wish to be able to handle the games I play regularily - WoW and TF2. My current Dell has served me well but I'm sick of running games in lowest settings. Eventually my Inspiron will die and this laptop will take over as my work computer (I need the portability, otherwise I'd probably buy a custom desktop).
Looking at the Acer Aspire 6530G AMD Turion X2 RM-70, this looks like a machine capable of addressing my needs for a good price, I was wondering your thoughts on it, or any similar laptops you could reccomend? I'm just looking for the best gaming performance I can get for under £600.
EDIT - I'd really like to know your thoughts on the Acer Aspire 7530 Gemstone, too.
