Hi, im very new to the forum, I have noticed a lot of intelligent comments as well as the usual hyping up of both Intel and Amd which is to be expected. To be honest I have used both, albeit ancient and outdated now, including the pc im using now, one of the rubber bands is on its way out 
so I would like some advice on the Amd II x6 1090T which has caught my eye.
I have just built my brothers new PC " DisrupTor75 " who asked similar advice on the I7 930, thank you to all who took the time to respond. The final build went well and almost without a hitch ( just needed a SATA Dvd-rom drive rather than Pata ( no IDE on the motherboard ) He now has a blindingly fast gaming PC..
The advice I need is: Which Intel processor is equivalent to the 1090T at stock speeds? I have no intentions of overclocking. It will be used for games only.
