What are your main uses for the build?

is it purely gaming or is there any productivity going on as well?

What res are you gaming at?

The only thing I would do is change the 2Tb drive.

I can only see 1 so would assume your OS is going to be installed to it. The SN770 is a dramless NVME drive and for an OS I would use 1 that has a dram cache. If its purely a games drive its fine

Hi there,

Yeah, it's purely for gaming. I'm just looking for 1440 as I'm using my tv in the livingroom. I'm not needing crazy fps either.

They also have
2TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (7450MB/R, 6900MB/W)
Any better?

Cheers

The SN770 is fine as a boot drive. I have W11 on a 2TB one and it boots up in around 15 - 20 seconds. That is on a 9800X3D and X870E board. You won't notice any difference with a more expensive SSD.
