ok,this is kind of last minute as i'm ordering this early-ish tomorrow morning.
I started a post a few weeks ago to get some general ideas and this build is taken pretty much directly from the advice i got there, but i just thought id post it one last time to make sure i dont do anything stupid,as this is my first build.

I am currently using a 32" HDTV with a native res of 1024x768 (i think), but i plan to buy a new 22" monitor with a 1680x1050 resolution at some point during the summer, so the main stumbling block - i think - is will the GTS be enough to play new games with settings on full on this resolution.

EDIT: I have just seen this psu on special offer,is it worth changing?

id say the logitech g15 and mx518 im realy pleased with mine the best keyboard and mouse setup iv ever had.

me personaly would get it in one whack but thats just the way i am :/

Saitek Eclipse is a nice cheapish keyboard and the Razer Deathadder is reportedly the best mouse around atm.

I would get a HD 2900 XT at this moment in time over a 8800GTS, mainly because benchmarks have shown it is a more powerful card and it looks like it's going to perform better in DX10 games than the new nVidia cards.

At that resolution I'd go for the GTX. The GTS can probably handle pretty much anything at 1680x1050 at the moment, but soon it won't be able to.

Craig.
