Hi, I have a budget of around £12-1300.00p and thinking of an AMD system perhaps a Ryzen 5 2600x with an nvidia GTX card. I would also like to perhaps future proof this with a half decent motherboard. Also have a budget of around £250-300 for a 144hz Monitor as I'm assuming that I would need to get something like this to get decent graphics? I'm assuming I can re-use my Win10 key and also added a 500gb SSD to my existing system so can probably migrate this accross and avoid the need for an SSD, but perhaps add a Firecuda 2TB sshd? I have a decent psu on my system. Would it be cheaper to just upgrade or start afresh? I have been a gamer for many years and now retired. Mainly play single player so unsure how long these sort of games will be around. Any advice on either of these subjects would be much appreciated.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me so promptly. System is as follows Win 10 64-bit, i5-3570K [email protected], 16gb Ram and nvidia GTX 660. I have one 500gb SSD and a second one of 250gb, I believe there is also a 1tb HDD which isnt connected. How does the RX vega compare against the nvidia cards and also what about cooling? I believe the PSU is 650kw

Hi just looked inside the case I believe the mobo is a Asus MSQ P8Z77-VLX with 32gb of Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz ram. (Not sure if this is correct. modules say 2x4gb and there are 4 of them but system info says only 16gb?) PSU is a xigma tek TAURO Power force 80 Plus bronze. Any further recommendations appreciated, oh and thanks for your time

Hi, Yeah thats what I was beginning to think. Maybe go the whole hog with the AMD/Ryzen combo above but with a suitable PSU, case and 2tb Firecuda. I know this will jack the price up but could we switch the monitor?
from an Optix MAG27CQ 27" 2560x1440 VA FREESYNC 144Hz 1ms Curved Widescreen Gaming Monitor
to Optix G27C2 27" 1920x1080 VA FREESYNC 144Hz 1ms Curved Widescreen Gaming Monitor
Not sure what the gaming experience differential would be like but may cover the changes

Hi, What would you think of this system OcUK Tech Labs AMD Ryzen Midi Tower Gaming PC Configurator Aurus GA-AX370 gaming 7, AMD Ryzen 5-2600X, 16GB T Force mem, Radeon RX VEGA 56 Red Dragon 8gb (Couldnt configure 64 version?) 2TB Firecuda SSHD not sure on PSU but selected Cougar GX-S 650w Plus gold. Would add my 500gb SSD? this comes out at £1192 without monitor. Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi, been having a think on this system and feel I would like to start afresh.
Would love to get any ones views on the following.
AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Asus Prime B450-Plus ATX AM4, Team Vulcan 16gb DDR4-3000 mem, Firecuda 2tb hybrid, Powercolor Radeon RX Vega 64 8gb red devil, Corsair TXM Gold 650W Gold PSU and a Thermaltake View 22 Tempered glass Tower case. Then hopefully may have enough left for either an MSI Optix MAG27CQ or AOC AG271QX. Any info would be appreciated as I'm not that tech ok. Also both these monitors are 1440p would this be okay?

Was hoping to get it built. Would rather probably pay to have it done as probably not confident enough to do it myslf what with warranties etc.. Although did build one myself many, many years ago

Hi, I ended up getting the RX Vega 64 Red Devil card and a new monitor as suggested. The PSU is rated at 700w but although Win 10 boots after about 30 seconds the screen goes blank. I’m assuming it is a power issue. There are 2 x 8 pin connectors on the card and the power cable has only 2 x 6 pin connectors with 2 x 2 tails. I have connected all of these. Can anybody advise me if this is correct or do I need to get a new PSU?
