Our rather old Philips 28" has started to bend the picture in all sorts of wonderfull ways, so as a consequence we're looking for a decent replacement.

Needed

32" screen or greater
Flat screen
100Hz preferred

Can't afford
LCD or Plasma :(

So can anyone recommend a good crt tv at a reasonable price? ie <£300

I noticed someone in the Members Market was selling a Panasonic TX28PS12.

I would buy this as I am sure in 12-18months time you will want to upgrade to HD when the prices and availability all slot into place.

The PS12 is a fantastic TV, I have one myself and I set them up for a living. Hope that says enough. :)

It is 28" but other than that fills all your criteria. Also, it's 100Hz not mHz.
