Advice on Parallels please

Hi guys,

got a callout on Tuesday to setup Windows 7 on a brand new Macbook.

Now I'm more than fluent with OSX, however I've never used parallels before and have no experience with it.

Can someone talk to me about it? Things to look out for? Potential hiccups? Is it easy enough?

Well if its anything like VMWare then you open Parallels, make a new Virtual Machine of x size, set number of cores, memory size etc and then insert the installation disk and your away.

Pretty easy to be honest

Yup agree with above.Simple step by step process. Much faster than VMWare aswell

Ive never had any issues with any of the installs ive done, or after using for a couple of years.

Ive thrown all kinds of OS's at it in the past and it handles them all the same, perfectly.

Superb piece of software to be honest. Only really use it for a hadful of apps that arnt OSX compatible, or testing, but well worth it.
