Hey all,
I'm wanting to upgrade my computer as its been 3/4 years since the last time and its starting to show its age. I've got about £1000 - £1200 or so to spend on it and I was hoping that you could give me a list of the best things i could get for this amount.
Im probably not gonna change everything in it, like PSU, sound card etc unless i need to and im looking mainly at upgrading motherboard, processor, memory and graphics card. I do play games on it, so I dont know if that influences what you suggest.
Just for a reference i'm gonna list whats in it now,to the best of my memory anyway
, i'll put a star next to things i'm not 100% on:
Case - Antec 900
Processor - Intel core 2 duo e6600
Motherboard - Asus P5N-E SLI (*)
Graphics card - NVIDIA 8800GTS
Memory - Kingston 2gb (2x1gb)
PSU - an antec 650w (*)(really cant remember this one!)
Sound card - Sound Blaster x-fi xtreme audio
If theres any queries you have then please ask away.

P.S I've heard a fair bit on water cooling, can anyone tell me if this is a better option than fan cooling and if so which are good water cooling systems.
