Hey guys,
A very good friend has just has his first baby girl. I went over to see it the other day and we started taking some pictures with their current digital camera which was huge, slow, and low quality.
Obviously they are after just a point and click camera but one that is reasonably quick and good quality. My budget is also an issue as I want to be able to treat them to this myself.
The ones I have shortlisted are:
Canon Ixus 70/75(why would I go with the 75 over the 70?) -£120 for 70
Fuji Z10FD - can't find many reviews for this but looks funky - £100
Olympus MJU820 looks the highest spec but is it any good?- £130 approx
Max budget of around £150 but the cameras above come in under that which is nice. I realise that I will need a bigger memory card also.
Are there others I should consider? Which is the best out of those 3?
I use an IXUS 10mp jobby TI something but only use it as a point and shoot camera so am probably not using it properly. I like he design of the IXUS but with the 70 being so small it may be tricky with a baby in arms also.
