Advice on possible mountain bike purchase

Hi All

I am thinking about buying a mongoose amasa Elite. This will be my first bike since riding around on mountain bikes when I was a teen. The one I have found is second hand and in decent condition.

How would you rate this bike? Is it worth the £100 price tag?

I am not desperate to find a bike at the present so want a real bargain that will do me for years.

That really wont last "years".

if its in a reasonable condition already and you take care of its maintenance there is no reason why it shouldn't last as long as you need it to.

Even some poorer makes of cycle will last a long time as they are cared for.

Is it a good deal then and is it a decent bike? Very hard to find reviews, although this is probably down to poor google skills
