Hi all,

Long story short, I've disconnected my heater matrix as it was leaking and misting up the car within mintues of starting to drive.

Now, I'm a bit of a cheap skate (making no bones about it!) and don't want to pay the few hundard quid a local garage would change to do it for me so, I'm thinking of doing it myself.

Anyone done this before and have any perls of wisdom they can share??

Cheers guys.

:)

Ive done one on my 106GTi, it was quite possibly the worst job Ive ever had to do on a car. Full dash had to come out, waterpipe clips were a sod to get to and lining the vents back up was a pain.
Not sure if the 306 is much different.

There is a way of hack sawing the inners out of the glovebox so that you don't need to remove the dash (so I've heard) :) I'm afraid I can't offer any further advice, good luck :)

cheers for the replies guys!

I'll have a good old fashioned read-up.

Looks like I'm in for a long weekend some time soon. :(
