how do you know the installed memory is running very slow.?
CPU-Z - he said.

It depends on your BIOS - on my 780i, every aspect of memory from timings to voltage is adjustable. If you're lucky, there will be idiot-proof memory overclocking settings - on mine, it's a series of multipliers from CPUOC 0% to CPUOC Max.

Setting memory overclocking manually is fraught with dangers and should only be attempted with a thorough understanding of the subject. I'm clueless, so I don't :D
