I recently bought a SSD for my system because my 1TB HDD was playing up.
Iv'e just finished installing the OS to the SSD with all the updates and stuff, and the space really does fill up.

My question is:
Is it possible to use the 1TB hdd for programs and things.
Like spotify for example?

When I downloaded it, it installed onto the SSD by default, and was wondering if there's a way to use the HDD drive?

I don't want to fill the SSD and bog it down if there's a way to keep things smooth by using the HDD.

Any info would be great. Thanks

you can have actual programs that run off SSD, but have libraries stored on 1TB.

eg. you can have VLC installed on SSD, but the actual video files on 1TB.

You can also install programs to the HDD, I do this quite a lot

Yeah if any programs offer a custom install option then through there you can change the install location.

But most of your big files, games (if fast loads not required), movies, music, My Documents etc would be best kept on the bigger drive.
