Hi all,

Just stripped back a bit of rust from the drivers sill on my girlfriends 94 polo (mk3 coupe). Its not looking as great as I hoped:

Whats the best way of treating this so it doesnt get any worse for now? I've got some kurust to put on it, and also some anti rust primer.

Thanks for advice!

Yeah I'm tempted just to fill over it, and spray it up. The Polo isn't exactly going for concours. The bottom part of the sill seems to be coated with a much more textured paint, thats almost like a sticker, is this just stonechip paint?

I believe it has been attended to before, looks that way indeed.

Cheers for advice though, I've got some hammerite anti rust primer to go on it for now, should be ok to seal it temporarily shouldnt it? I don't have any topcoat, and I'm waiting on some POR15 from a mate...
