Hey Guys. what do you think of this spec? The use of the computer will be for gaming.

heres the spec:
Pentium 4 PCI-Express Motherboard
Black Case
Intel Core 2 Duo 6400 processor (2 x 2.13G
1GB DDR2 Memory
160GB SATA 7200rpm Hard Drive
512MB Radeon X1800xT
DVDRW (Dual Layer)
Uprated 500W Twin Fan PSU

which will come to a total of £697 inc VAT.

Welcome to the forums, do you have any more information on the motherboard? The description means it could be almost anything and the PSU might be a generic offering as well. You could build this system with parts from OcUK for about £45 more but you get 2gb Ram, one of the best socket 775 motherboards for overclocking and a good quality case and PSU. The graphics card is a 256mb model though, however this is fine unless you are playing at 1600x1200 or above normally. Actually probably a better option is to go for a 6300 chip and a better cooler as you can easily overclock to faster than the 6400 is at stock.

Delivery is included via City Link so £744.22 is a total price. You probably don't even need your friend to help you build it, PCs are pretty simply now but if you would feel more comfortable then ask them to watch over you while you do it. :)
