Any advice on the choice of parts, do I need a better cooler and am i missing anything else? Budget is around £650

I would scrap the PSU as it's not truly a 500w PSU and has only 3 year warranty, also I'm not 100% that board will run the 3600 out of the box

what would you recommend then?

The case is MATX so yes please.

If you can link a better psu and mb id appreciate that.

Also is the cpu cooler that comes with the cpu good enough?

So what's your highest budget? The Phanteks PSU is a great PSU and better warranty

He doesn't need true 500 watts because the CPU is only 65 watts and the graphics card only 100 watts.

I actually like this - gpu out of stock though??

How does the rx 5500 do vs 1650 - problem is OCUK aint got any in stock

Gpus are either out of stock or overpriced right now even used they are selling for more than 2 years ago.

If the PC is just for gaming then I'd consider getting a ps5 or Xbox series X for £450 instead since the GPU in those is about 2.5x more powerful than either of those options or save up a bit more and go with a RTX 3060/3060ti.

No its not for just gaming, family use, work use and casual gaming.

And the games I play are not on console.
