Advice on this screen please ?

Hi Folks

Think I finally decided on this screen from overclockers
Samsung LE37M87BDX 37" True HD Freeview LCD TV

Will this be fine for PC Gaming and what is it like for internet usage , text etc will it be sharp as thinking of trading my 27" Dell monitor for this.
Would it be a mistake or of equal measures ?

I've got the 40" version at home but have not tried hooking my PC up to it yet. I've got my PS3 conencted and text on the PS3 web browser looks fine and reasonably sharp, games on PS3 look fantastic.

However my 24" 1920x1200 monitor looks much better up close, compared to the 40" 1900x1080 res. Pixel density is so much lower on the TV that I would not want to use it for PC stuff. I guess because i sit about 3 meters from my TV and only about 30cm from my monitor.

i have the "36 samsung BDX sesh... (top seller for a long time on most e-retail stores)

plug my laptop in and its fine, quite impressed...dont ask for resolutions though.

you probably wont beat your 27" dell though...
