I am wanting to build a fairly cheap pc for approx £600. I will be doing some gaming, internet usage, downloading etc etc. I will not be doing any form of overclocking at all. I have come up with the following:

£61.95 £61.95
GX-044-HT HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X800 GTO ICEQII TURBO 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (RX800GTO-256ICEQT) (GX-044-HT)
£94.95 £94.95
HD-046-WD Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-046-WD)
£64.25 £64.25
HD-000-OK OcUK Value Floppy Drive - Black (HD-000-OK)
£4.95 £4.95
CD-024-NE NEC ND4550 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM (CD-024-NE)
£25.50 £25.50
CA-000-AR Arctic Cooling T1 Silentium Silent Midi Tower Case - 450W Seasonic Silent PSU (CA-000-AR)
£45.95 £45.95
CP-121-AM AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA3700BNBOX) (CP-121-AM)
£137.95 £137.95
MY-005-GL GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS2.5 (GE1GB3200BHDC) (MY-005-GL)
£54.95 £54.95
Subtotal £490.45
Shipping (City Link Parcel Next Day (Delivered Mon-Fri)) £12.95
VAT £88.10
Total £591.50

The main question i have is will the case/psu combo good enough to power it? And also, will it be quiet? the HIS gfx card apparently has a quiet fan on it and the case is meant to be quiet too.

Also, about the case. the front is silver and the rest is black. What would suit it better, a silver floppy/dvd-rw or a black one?

that power supply should be fine, and as to the drive colours thats really which ever you think looks better, I would go for silver so that the front is uniform, but having them contrast could be interesting ;)

As said above, the PSU should be fine for that system.
It should be quite a nice rig when setup too.

As for the colors of the drives, it comes to personal preferance. I wouldnt worry too much myself, as i look at the computer screen, not the case the majority of time when using my pc. ;)
