It's been 4 years since I last used this forum and 4 years since I bought the hardware for my computer. It's still working pretty well but there's been some red flags and issues that makes me think it's about time I upgraded. I don't really play cutting-edge games on here, so I'm not too fussed about a new GPU or CPU, I think the problems I've had are down to the motherboard and the hard drive more than anything.

It's been a long time so I'm pretty rusty with this stuff, so I'm not sure whether the newer stuff will be compatible with what I've got, but here are my current specs:

GPU: AMD HD 7800 Series
CPU: Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz
Mobo: Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77
Hard Drive: Sandisk Extreme SSD 120GB & Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Case : Z9 Plus Tower Case

The main things I want to change are the hard drives (something like a 250GB SSD and a 1TB HD), the mobo and ideally I'd like a smaller case as I'll need it to be more movable in future. I'm weighing up my options, but my budget will probably be something around £200-£300, could you gents spec me and offer some advice?

Just realised this is the wrong forum. I'll post this in the appropriate one and ask if one of the mods could delete this thread. Thanks.
