Advice on upgrading please :)

Currently have spec in sig with 2 Sapphire Dual-X 7970s. I play in 1440p and I like Ultra settings. With me wanting to buy battlefield 4, can anyone see any point in me upgrading?

I was going to buy a pair of 290x's but the cooler reviews are putting me of. With me going to be able to get £300-320 for my 7970's I have around £500 maybe £600 at a stretch to put in on top of that for upgrades.

Choices:
. 2 x 290x when custom coolers come out from partners
. 2 x 780
. 2 x Titan second hand from Members Market
. Don't waste money upgrading.

What should I do?

P.S no AMD or Nvidia here please, I have no brand preference ,I just like the best overall for price/performance/sound level/quality.

Surely you will not be throttled back for a few years to come with xfire 7970's

Buy BF4, play BF4. Then decide if you want to upgrade.

Also BF4 still has a few bugs so i wouldn't dash out and buy something straight away for it.

I'd be willing to bet it runs lovely on 7970 crossfire.
