Advice on using Protein Shake :)

Hey, Basically I just bought http://www.bodysourceonline.co.uk/Products/Pro-Lab-N-Large2-10lbs-+-FREE-Shaker-1342.aspx

Didnt come with the free shaker though :( lol

Ok.. On the tub it says this will last 30 servings! Surely not, thats like 15 days.. Im 9 stone by the way.. When would be the best time to take them on the days im not working out and the days im working out.. And how much should I put in each serving.. It says on the tub "152 grams with 12-14 oz of water or milk"

5kg Whey Protein Concentrate 80 @ £31.95
5kg Ultra Fine Scottish Oats @ £9.89

Now for sweetening and flavouring there are a few options open to you.

The cheapest and unhealthiest:
1kg Dextrose @ £2.95
Nesquik - get from supermarket any flavour you want.

Healthier but more expensive:
2kg Palatinose @ £11.98 - you could try 1kg but it's only half as sweet as dextrose.
Cocoa Powder - get from supermarket, Green & Black's organic cocoa powder is awesome ;)

Another choice from Tesco instead of myprotein is the oats. Tesco sell 750g of organic jumbo oats for about £1.20 but obviously these aren't as pleasant as the fine ground ones from MP, so it's upto you.

If you followed all that you'd end up with:

26lb of Top Quality Weight gainer for about £50 - cheap
or
28lb of Top Quality Weight gainer for about £60 - dearer but best.

If using MP for first time then using someones code (like mine MP5500) would save you 5% off your first order.

Use the money you saved to pay the little bit extra for some Channel Islands Gold Top milk (unhomogenized) to mix it all in and you've got a fantastic weight gainer. These choices are FAR healthier aswell as being much better value for money.

I paid 43 quid for 4.5KG of Garnell Anabolic Mass - Worked a treat so far.... I have it along with a full set of meals during the day (I have a really fast metabolism) and i have put on a good 7 pounds of muscle in 1 tub use (about 25 days) With an extreme training regime.... Hardly any water weight too! which is nice.

No you haven't.

1lb of muscle max, the other 6lb will be water, glycogen and fat.

The weight gainer you mentioned is almost identical to the one on the OP, containing maltodextrin and fructose. It also contains milk and whey protein so it's arguably slightly better... still poor though and will make you fat, as you're finding out ;)

Nah, I gain incredibly quickly. I forgot to mention that i used to train loads.... as in like every day for hourrrssss. So most of it is probably muscle memory... But still, great product.

You train everyday and gain something like 2lbs of muscle a week eh? Dude you should market whatever it is you're doing because you're making better gains than pro's like Ronnie Coleman on insane amounts of steroids. Are you taking silly amounts of steroids?

Either that or you're maybe stretching the truth a little....?

No, Im saying that i used to train loads. But i stopped for about a year, and now im back training fully with use of Suppliments (never used to take em).... I was 8 stone 12 when i started training about 3 years ago, when i stopped i was 9.5 stone. Before working out again about 7 months ago i was 9.7 Stone (+ 9% Bodyfat). I just weighed myself now and i am 11 stone 2 (admitedly, i have had a full xmas dinner today... So my actual empty stomach bodymass is about 10 stone 12). I am now 6.3% Bodyfat also and curling, banching and mil-pressing a hell of a lot more weight than i used to.
 
Just post a picture of yourself so your outlandish claims can gain some credence. Then we can talk about your gains with some meaning beyond those of the "I Gained 10kgs of Lean Muscle in Just Two Months with NEW Ultramass MegaShake" kind.

None of that really makes any sense to me. Where do you get the figures of 7lbs in 25 days from? So you were 10st 5lbs on 1st December? Was that with or without a belly of of turkey hehe :D

Also I'd agree with skull here, you look more like 10%-12%bf judging by that pic. Certainly nowhere near 6.5%
