hi i'm thinking of getting a watercooling kit but am unsure what to get also wanted to know if my ATI RADEON XFX HD 4870 1GB can be watercooled and which to go for?

EK do a number of blocks for the 4870's with add on plates for non standard layout's (i've got one on my Sapphire 4870 1Gb). Other block makers offer similar items. I'd suggest going with a metal top block if you can find one as the extra heat dissipation is preferable if the cost difference is minimal. As pointed out you could get a cheap after market air cooler to do a similar job but personally I prefer water.

Thermalright T-rad2 or AC Accelero twin turbo come to mind.

If ultra quiet or low temp gaming is what your after a gpu loop is an (expensive) option.
Don't know of any good gpu watercooling kit. So would be a custom setup at around £150 new.

Spending £30 on an air cooler is better value for money.
