This isn't really a hardware problem as such but This looked like the most suitable place to post this thread...
I've had a problem with receiveing an 8800 gtx by bfg:
I ordered this card with the rest of my components on friday, unfortunately, come saturday, ocuk sent me the watercooled version of the card, so I called, and they said to send it back with everything inside and a little extra protection with a reference number that they gave me so they knew what it was. As I've been anxious to get this card I carried out all this the very same day. I recieved an e-mail telling me that they had recieved the card on monday, so assumably everything was going well. When I didnt get card on tuesday I called again and gave them the reference number and all the rest of it, and was told that the problem with the card that i had sent was being evaluated, I told them that that wasn't why I had sent the thing back and told them that they were meant to be replacing the card with the one I ordered originally and sending that out, they apologized and said that now it was all sorted and said there would be no further mix-ups. Now it's wednesday and I still havn't got it, and after calling all day but getting hung up a couple of times when I'm in the queuing system on the phone, I'm starting to think that maybe there is some other way I could tell ocuk about this since I don't think any information about my problem has actualy got through, the only sign was the e-mail I recieved telling me that they had recieved the card. It's probably obvious and I havn't thought of it but is there any way to reach ocuk about this problem excluding the phone? the bfg 8800 gtx (the card I actualy ordered) Is still in stock so I assume there shouldn't be any problem with getting it sent once the information about this has been recieved, but I'm getting a bit anxious since I did pay for next day delivery too and it's now been 5, I assume It won't arrive tomorrow as I've had no indication of it happening.
Any advice would be greatly, greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.
