Hey,
I'm going to be buying a new system in the next couple of weeks after my old computer died.
I just wanted some advice on which prebuilt system will be best for my requirements?
- The system will mostly be used for gaming, and I hope to run Guild Wars 2 at max settings.
- I also do lots of video editing, rendering and 3D modelling.
I was thinking about maybe going for the Titan Photon, as the I5 ivybridge cpu seems to be a popular choice, and the ram and hdd seem good too. I was thinking of having a 7950 in there to cope with the most graphical of games.
The thing is... I do have a 6950 from my old computer, which I am 80% sure is still perfectly fine (I think it was the psu/mobo that was the problem). So perhaps it might be worth having no gpu in the new system and using the one I already have? (If overclockers would allow me to buy a prebuilt with no gpu) would this have any problems for overclockers testing the pc etc if It didn't have a gpu in?
I have a monitor, mouse, keyboard etc so it is just the system i need to buy.
My budget is around £900-£1000, obviously the lower the better.
My main aim is to get guild wars 2 running as max as possible.

I'm going to decide on either throwing caution to the wind and building it myself, or buying the Photon prebuilt with a 7970 and just sell on my 6950.
