Hi all, looking for some guidance and advice on updating the work place to run tablets on the factory floor.
Let me start with what we have in place at the moment; Bosses PC, Production PC, Admin PC and a Synology NAS. How it works is the boss designs all drawings using CorelDraw for the production team saves on the NAS, We access it, save a copy into a jobs folder and write up a spec sheet on excel, print them out and away you go. Now, what we want is to be able to have a tablet device on the factory floor that is able to run the full version of Excel and run a copy of CorelDraw. We will also be filling out Non-conformance, PDI's etc on excel and would like the ability to sign the form.
Is such a device available? would also need it to have a decent case as we work in a dusty environment.
