Hi can anyone recommend a good mouse.. my main thing im looking for is extra buttons on the mouse. Ive found the usual ones with the 2 extra buttons on the left side but i really want one with a couple extra maybe on right side? Not sure if any manufacturer does this... but hey thats why iam asking here :P Cheers guys!
ps i found lots of mice with 2 or 3 little buttons just below the scroll wheel but it says these are things to change the sensitivity etc BUT does anyone know if these types of buttons are programmable?

afraid its personal preference

you could do with going into purple shirts and trying a few models out
see which fits your needs best
i use a razer and am very happy with it

I total agree, it's all down to personal preference, I found Logitech gaming mice no good for me. As I'm a left handed gamer and their designs tend to be for right handed players. Were I found Razer mice tend to be designed for both.

Had my copperhead since christmas and it's been a great mouse.

Razer are terrible. Stick with Logitech/MS or Steelseries. Ikari, MX518 or Intelli 3.0

lol theres always one

I will say mouses are to each persons own taste but to just blurt out razer are terrible with no real reasons is just plain stupid.
Considering the rest of the people in this thread have said razer are a good choice :o

Deathadder here too.

Completely changed my reaction times.. such a good mouse.
Couple it with a Exactmat and it just feels like it glides over air.

Amazing.. money well spent :)

Had a Razer Diamondback Plasma before for about 2 years, great mouse, light, responsive and sensitive.

Now using an MX518, another great mouse, feels substantial in your hand. Would have gone for another Razer if they weren't so much more than the MX518.

i use a Logitech G5, had it for years, and still love it :)

but its down to personal pref as people say :)

never tried a razor, but ive loved the 2 logitechs ive used over the past 3 years. Although wireless and not striclty gaming they do fine for gaming.

Logitechs Customer Service is top notch tho :)

Well said...its all down to personal taste. Just because you bought Mouse X over Mouse Y doesn't make Y crap... you should buy a mouse for how it feels to you not because everyone else has one.
