Say £280 budget ...24" 1080p...ideally 144hz...free sync or gsync would be nice..but not necessary.

Asus nvidia dual GeForce gtx 1060 gpu, I have heard this is not really powerful enough for 144fps but keep reading it's still worth going the extra budget for 144hz?
New to pc gaming so advice welcome.

I would get a 144Hz monitor just so its future proof when you upgrade your GPU. You using this for gaming I take it?

The acer predator isn't bad from what I've heard.
