Advice please (asap)

Hiya,

Basically i've finished my new upgrade Asus Maximus
2GB Corsair Ram
Quad Core
What i am trying to do is get in to windows so i can backup some photos (that i couldn't get to before) but every time i go to get in to windows or safe mode the usb keyboard + mouse just power down.
i know that windows will be confused as hell as ive gone from amd to intel etc

can you plug in a none USB keyboard and mouse?

only a keyboard by the looks of things

Check the settings in the BIOS for mouse / keyboard.

Also, have you tried unplugging the mouse / keyboard and plugging them back in again?

i dont have another computer - really with i did!!

i've managed to find a ps/2 adaptor for ma keyboard

and yeah i've tried taking em out and back agian , changed usb ports etc.

your USB's wont work until the Forceware has been installed on your new OS - as stupid as it sounds, its pretty common - thebest thing to do is boot towindows and use an older non USB keyboard and mouse and to install the Forceware drivers from nvidia from there.
