Advice please - monitor around £450 budget

Hi, and thanks for checking out this post...

I'm hoping for a steer please on a new monitor I can use for both work (replacing x2 screens) and also gaming (racing & mix of other stuff).
My set up is...
- Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 AMD Motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 9 5950X Sixteen Core 4.9GHz Processor
- 32GB 3600 MHz AMD Ryzen Tuned DDR4
- Asus Radeon RX 6750 XT Dual OC 12GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Was initially thinking about a curved ultra-wide (to replace x2 old monitors), but could also cope work-wise with a 27-28" screen.

Budget is around £400-£450, but may be tempted to push that a bit if worth it.

I'd really appreciate some helpful advice as I'm not on familiar ground with current kit.

I have an Acer predator x34. Which I think would be over your budget. It's a very nice monitor. For development work I would routinely use 2 monitors and max my Dev environment on one monitor, web browser or app I'm debugging on the other. With one monitor I tend to miss the ease of doing that.
For gaming, one big monitor with no gap in the middle is great.
