Advice please - OC'ed bundle etc

Hi Guys,

I posted a while ago how my pc was annoying me as it randomly pauses thus crashing during games. Now I have no idea how to fix this, but its really starting to annoy me.

I was thinking of reformatting with Win 7, and buying a OC'ed bundle to keep my pc up to date

I play BFBC2 and COD4 so I just need something which will run that. I dont do any coding or video editting. Any ideas guys?

I dont want to spend a fortune. I just want my damn pc to run a game smoothly!!! :(

whats wrong with the system in your sig? try overclocking it.

cant really see a i3 at 4ghz being much better than you already have, especially if you can crank it up to 3ghz or more
 
Nothings wrong with it as such. Just that games are crashing and I have no idea why or how to fix it..

Im happy with the spec. I just want to stop it crashing lol.

It crashes for no apparent reason... Ive checked HDD for problems and have all the latest drivers. Im dumbfounded
 
lol. Why would it say 750 if its lower? Cause of the way it functions?

Would you recommend a new PSU and reformat then? I honestly have no clue on PSU's

Hmm sounds very feasible :) Only started really from when I got my 5770 (but only when playing games, so rare, never linked the 2). So I assume thats draining a lot more power than my 8800 used to.

What Watt would you recommend I need, and any particular brands?
